Police say the woman was a Country Fire Authority (CFA) volunteer aged in her 40s. She was with the Barnawartha Brigade fighting a grassfire on private property near the town when she was run over by a firetruck at about 2:30pm AEDT. It is the second death of a firefighter in north-east Victoria in a month. Campbells Creek fire captain Trevor Day, a fireman of 10 years experience, was killed in the Strathbogie fires on January 23 when a firetruck rolled over. A Must See For Every Firefighter. This video shows several firefighters entering a structure during a controlled training burn. Several firefighters enter the structure without a hose line and advance forward. Smoke conditions slowly begin to worsen and soon show rapid signs of a flashover when the PPV fan is placed inside the front door. The house flashes, firefighters quickly work to get out of the building, and the PPV fan was instantly removed.
